Quick Take: Yay!

Overall: The major criticism of this movie is that it is too cliched. On the contrary, I liked that the couple discovered and accepted that they loved each other early on and didn’t drag it out until the end; I enjoyed their scheming in order to get together without hurting their families.

Dimple was similar to Geet (Kareena Kapoor in Jab We Met), but Katrina’s performance was very fun and endearing. I wish Ali Zafar was given more to sing and do. Imran’s charm and enthusiasm makes up for his shaky acting and dance skills.

Low Point: The title song with all the English words, and movie references - why?

High Point: The soundtrack by Sohail Sen. “Madhubala” is lots of fun - I only paid attention when Abhishek tweeted his love for it, and I completely agree. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan usually has the best song on every soundtrack, despite the fact that his voice never suits the hero - ”Isq Risk” is exceptional.
