So this is kinda awesome - A mash-up of AR Rahman.
Amazing song from “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi,” featuring the supremely talented Shahrukh Khan, with cameos by Kajol, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, (my girl) Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukherjee. The whole number pays homage to fifty years of classic Bollywood films and famous actor/actress pairings.
Ahh, Sonu is fantastic here, and the incorporation of the films’ titles into the lyrics is quite masterful. THIS is how you do an homage to Bollywood’s vibrant history (I’m looking at you, Bombay Talkies!). Brilliant job by Salim-Sulaiman and Jaideep Sahni.
Official Trailer - Bombay Talkies (May 3, 2013)
“An Indian anthology film consisting of four short films, directed by Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar and Karan Johar.[1] The film will release on May 3, 2013, to mark the centenary year of Indian cinema.[2] The music is composed by Amit Trivedi. It is selected at 2013 Cannes Film Festival, in celebration of Indian’s Film Centenary.”
Looks very interesting! (weird, star-packed title song notwithstanding)

Aamir Khan (with Rani and Kareena) is in the hot seat about why Indian actors don’t publicly endorse politicians, and the paycheck disparity between male and female actors.
A bit of a burn, but overall diplomatic answer!
When Rani Mukherjee began her career, she had a huge crush on Aamir Khan. But then, she was a starter and she didn’t have the courage to look into Aamir’s eyes. And now after 14 years, they have come together for their third film Talaash, and this time around Rani keeps gazing into his eyes until he asks her not to.
In 1998, both Aamir Khan and Rani came together for their first film together Ghulam, The movie was a block buster at the Box Office. By the time Ghulam released, Aamir was already a superstar with films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Dil to his credit while Rani was a newcomer.
Recalling a few incidents on the sets of Ghulam, Rani said: “When I did my first film with him, I used to look at his shoes as I used to be all tensed and nervous. I was a huge Aamir Khan fan. I had a crush on him. When I had seen QSQT (‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’), I was in school.”
“I was very nervous while doing a romantic scene with him. I would look at his shoes because I couldn’t look into his eyes because I feared I would fall in love with him,” she added.
“Now I look into his eyes. I keep gazing into his eyes until he asks me not to,”added the 34 year old actress.
Aamir and Rani share a good relationship off screen and she wishes that it lasts forever.
She said: “Over the years, Aamir and I have built a friendship which, I would like to believe, is for life. I would like to believe that I will be attending his 80th birthday also.”
Rani wouldn’t stop praising Aamir Khan.
“He was a superstar when I did my first film with him and he is a much bigger superstar even now. His focus, dedication and sincerity towards his craft, his approach towards filmmaking, performance and character, has become greater and bigger with time,” she said.
Talaash is a crime thriller directed by Reema Kagti and also stars Kareena Kapoor. It’s set to release in theatres Nov 30.

Rewatched this a few days ago, and I think I finally understand when women say that Shah Rukh has ruined romance for them. His characters are too perfect. We can never have lovers like this…
Brilliance.
